Our product uses 99.6% pure TiO₂, which is applied to the stainless-steel base through a plasma process at a thickness of approximately 300 microns. It then undergoes an advanced polishing process to form a solid titanium metal layer of approximately 0.15 mm.
This thick and pure titanium layer offers hardness of up to HV 850, providing outstanding resistance not only to friction during cookware use, but also to external impact. As a result, it delivers durability that is incomparable to conventional titanium cookware.
Traditional titanium plasma-coated cookware produced in Europe and China generally consists of a mixture containing approximately 0.3% titanium and ceramic materials, with a coating thickness of 40–60 microns. These structures do not provide titanium’s inherent self-passivating properties, and their long-term value is also limited.
Similarly, 316Ti stainless steel, which contains approximately 0.4% titanium, uses titanium only as a stabilizing additive and therefore should not be considered genuine titanium cookware.
The most important feature of Titanium COOKWARE is its thick and robust TIO2 SHIELD. This TIO2 layer is key to blocking all chemical penetration and maintaining purity for the human body. The TIO2 SHIELD that occurs naturally in titanium metal is only up to 10 microns thick at the nanometer level. Since this thickness is insufficient to withstand the unexpected conditions encountered during cooking, we have built up a layer of 99.6% TIO2 to a thickness of 300 microns and applied a special polishing process, resulting in a product that surpasses all existing titanium metal cookware.
